JCAHO Establishes Advisory Councils for Ambulatory Care
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) recently announced the establishment of two advisory councils ― the Medical/Diagnostic Advisory Council and the Ambulatory Surgery Advisory Council ― to provide ambulatory care and office-based surgery professionals with new opportunities to offer advice and insight about the accreditation process. The JCAHO will seek feedback from these councils on a variety of subjects. Both councils will formally meet three times a year, with the first meeting scheduled for this month.

Kimberly-Clark Offers HVAC Educational Series
Kimberly-Clark Filtration Products has developed a series of educational pamphlets designed to help HVAC and facilities management professionals better understand how to select and maintain their HVAC filtration systems. The  first two brochures, "A Guide to Understanding HVAC Filter Selection" and "A Guide to Understanding HVAC Filter Maintenance," are available free of charge to industry professionals.
